Every year, Mayor Michelle Distler hosts fundraising efforts to help a local organization or organization of her choice. For 2022, Mayor Distler chose both Shawnee Community Services and Mercy and Truth Medical Missions to benefit from the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund!

There are several ways you can support the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund at any time of the year.

• Online donations are open NOW!

• Make a donation directly to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund in person at City Hall or by sending a check to the following address.

• Purchase a special edition Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund shirt, candle, ornament or holiday card at Shawnee Town 1929 Gift Shop at 11501 W. 57th St.

• Thank you to the pet owners who helped raise nearly $400 for the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund by taking part in Mayor Michelle Distler's Top Dog Contest! You can check out all the perfect pets and meet Chevy the winner here!

• Thank you to Wandering Vine at the Castle for hosting a Dine at the Vine event. It was a huge success!

• Thank you to Servaes Brewing Company at 10921 Johnson Drive for hosting a fun Music Bingo Night in November! We appreciate your partnership!

• You now have the opportunity to purchase dedication plaques for one of our bluebird boxes that you can find in our parks and on our trails. You can find full information on these dedication plaques here. 

• If a business would like to hold a fundraiser, the City will support efforts by featuring business names and promotions here on our website. Please reach out to Julie Breithaupt if you would like to set up a fundraiser for your business.
