Do YOU Want Tidy Town to Change?

There has been discussion about changing Tidy Town to a more personalized service. Rather than the City determining the schedule for the event, each resident would be allowed to contact their trash hauler and schedule a pick-up of bulky items one-time per year at the convenience of the customer.  The trash hauler would have 10 work days from the date of the customer's call to complete the service.

As with the Tidy Town event, this service is built into the customer's monthly trash rate. No extra fee will be charged to the customer and all other guidelines for the bulky collection service will remain. 
 
Additionally, with the cooperation of the trash haulers, a drop-off site will still be available for residents to use over a set number of days, as has been provided for the past two years. The drop-off site will be for items that do not qualify for curbside collection such as wood, concrete, rock, fencing, construction debris, glass and other such large items.
