Off-Premises Massage Therapy
The operation of any off-premises massage business shall be subject to
the following regulations:
- Massage therapy performed at a patron's residence is limited to the
hours between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- No service shall be given which is clearly dangerous or harmful in
the opinion of the Director of the County Department of Health to the
safety and health of any person.
- All massage therapists shall be clean and wear clean outer garments.
- All massage therapists must be modestly attired.
- All private parts of patrons must be covered by towels, cloths, or
undergarments when in the presence of the massage therapist. Any
contact with the patrons genital area is prohibited.
- A licensed massage therapist shall be present at all times when a
student massage therapist is performing off-premises massage.
