Automobile Registration

New Kansas residents must register their vehicles within 90 days of establishing residency. The original out-of-state title along with proof of no-fault liability insurance coverage must be shown. The Kansas Highway Patrol inspects vehicles to verify the VIN (vehicle identification number) and mileage.

New residents must also pay at the time vehicles are registered.  No City stickers are required. To register your vehicle:
