Expect lane closures during the Shawnee Mission Parkway Bridge Rehabilitation.

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has announced that, weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, July 20, 2010, on the Shawnee Mission Bridge Rehabilitation project.

The project will restore the 1936 portion of the Shawnee Mission Bridge over Turkey Creek Tributary located at Mastin Street in Merriam. As construction activities on the bridge rehabilitation project get underway, traffic will be limited to single-lane access for both east and west-bound traffic on Shawnee Mission Parkway.
