Advance voting by mail begins 20 days prior to every election. An application for advance voting may be obtained by mail or at the Johnson County Election office. Voters may register at any time. However, voter registration always closes 14 days prior to an Election Day. Applications must be postmarked no later than the 15th day prior to any election in order to be eligible to vote.
