Administration

    The Administration Division leads the Police Department with Rob Moser serving as Chief of Police and Lieutenant Colonel Doug Orbin serving as Deputy Police Chief. These positions are assisted by the Assistant to the Police Chief. The Division staffs two other professionals, the Research and Analysis Manager and the Crime Analyst.

    Research and Analysis Manager

    • Responsible for continuous policy improvement by auditing the effectiveness of existing practices. Researches and advises on legal updates as changes in case law and legislation evolve. Oversees the CALEA Accreditation process. Other duties as assigned by the Chief and Deputy Chief of Police.

    Crime Analyst
    • Responsible for identifying crime trends and patterns to make forecasts and predictions on emerging crime series. Develops the data needed to effectively allocate officers to areas for the purpose of crime reduction and traffic safety.
