15.52.200 Maintenance after casualty damage.
Within a period of ninety days after casualty damage to any premises, the owner and/or occupant shall take the following steps.
A. Contract for the repair and restoration of damage areas and removal of debris.
B. Contract for the demolition and removal of any part of the premises not to be repaired and restored and for the removal of debris in connection therewith.
Should an adjustment of insurance claims take longer than ninety days, the public officer may grant an extension in the period of time needed to comply with this section, upon the owner's submission of insurance verification and verification of the pending insurance claim. (Ord. 2379 §1(part), 1998)
