15.02.070 Duties Upon Transfer of Ownership. It shall be unlawful for any person or entity who has received a Stop Work Order, Rescission of Certificate of Occupancy, Compliance Order or Notice of Violation, to sell, transfer, mortgage, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer an interest in the real property subject to the Compliance Order or Notice of Violation, without first obtaining a written and notarized statement from the person or entity to whom the interest is to be transferred, that acknowledges such person or entities receipt of the Stop Work Order, Rescission of Certificate of Occupancy, Compliance Order or Notice of Violation, and the acceptance of full responsibility for compliance with the Stop Work Order, Rescission of Certificate of Occupancy, Compliance Order or Notice of Violation.
