Speaker Series: Las Voces del Pasado: Mexican Americans
Tell Stories of Their Past - With George Chavez, President of Chavez
& Associates – Mr. Chavez will discuss the experiences of Mexican
immigrants coming into the Argentine, Armourdale, Rosedale, and West
Bottoms neighborhoods of Kansas City, KS. This was part of a 2005
oral history project funded by the Kansas Humanities Council and is
now part of KHC’s speakers program.
