Downtown
Improvement Incentive Program
The Downtown Improvement Incentive Program is a 90% tax abatement
program that is available for any type of new construction or building
improvement that increases the value of a property in the defined
Neighborhood Revitalization Area. This program was recommended by the
Shawnee Downtown Partnership and adopted by the City Council in January
2003. The Downtown
Improvement Incentive Brochure, and the Neighborhood Revitalization Plan document contain a map of the
area, and more information on the program. For questions contact the

are also available for downtown properties. |
